Based in Barcelona, MAD is a non-profit association devoted to cultural engineering through the development of projects involving Art, Science and Technology.

We return to La Casa Encendida in Madrid to devote, for the first time, a whole edition to our educational activities.
The First International Symposium of Abstract Art in Motion took place from May 7th through 10th 2015, with the participation of over fifteen deluxe international artists. MasterClasses, workshops, clinics for students, and as always, PyRformances to close each day.



BA in Graphic Design and Photography. Founding member of MAD, a non-profit association in Barcelona that for nearly 20 years is devoted to the development of European projects related Art, Science and Technology.
In 2007 she co-founded Punto y Raya Festival.
She also curates themed screening programmes for various Spanish institutions.

Screenwriter and researcher. She occasionally delves into making experimental videos and animations, and lectures and writes essays as a film critic. A couple of her short films have been awarded internationally.
Since 2008 she's been a member of the iotaCenter's Advisory Council (Los Angeles, CA) and coordinator of the Spanish speaking community at the Visual Music Village.
She acts as a juror for various international film & animation festivals, and curates special programmes of avantgarde animation.

BA in Art History with a PhD in Contemporary Art, power and difference in the configuration of the collective imaginary from the Complutense University in Madrid. For 10 years she's been working as a producer and cultural agent. She's currently a producer at VAV studio. She is also the director of La Oveja Descarriada, a website focused on contemporary art exhibits in Madrid.

BA in Telecommunications Engineering from the UMA. Responsible of International Communication at vjspain.com.
Author of Visual, Interactive & Augmented Reality installations. Hardware & Software Designer / Generative Graphics and Creative Coding programmer.

The dynamic Social and Cultural Centre of the Fundación Montemadrid, hosting a myriad of activities ranging from the most avantgarde artistic expressions, to courses and workshops on areas such as Environmental Studies and Solidarity.
The cultural programme features performative arts, film, exhibits and other manifestations of contemporary creation.
