Special envoy to various conflict zones of a personal, family, domestic or intimate nature. She’s recently discovered the power of group work and activist photography. Specialized in essay and research projects through photography.
Founder member of the Nophoto collective and of the office for photographic projects development PINGPONGtherapy. In 2008 and 2009, she was a member of the SCAN artistic committee for photographic manifestation; and between 2005 and 2012, a photography professor at the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona).
Awarded the Fotopres’01 scholarship, 2002 Photoespaña2004 Arts Plàstiques Ciutat d’Olot scholarship, Honorable Mention for "Best Photography Book" at the 2006 Photoespaña photography festival, 2009 and 2010 EADC scholarships, and the 2012 Fundació “la Caixa” scholarship for cultural projects addressed to groups at risk of social exclusion.
