Arquikids is an organization, which devises workshops and projects related to architecture and urban education for children and youngsters. It was originally thought as a tool to heighten the senses, the imagination and the creativity.
Play is the means by which children explore the world and learn naturally. A playful approach enables them to use their inborn imagination and their natural spontaneity. This contributes to the development of creativity and spatial thought processes.
Their goal is to expose kids and youngsters to the various possibilities that architecture, design and the city have to offer, boosting their ability to perceive, understand and discover the relationship between the natural and man-made environments, and the link between sustainable development and life quality.
