1194D is a triangular morphing organism based on polygon subdivision programmed using Processing. It is one of my "Algorithmic Creatures" series.

The film shows the growing process of this "creature" and its various ways of combination and co-existing with its own kind within the "environment", which is constructed based on a three dimensional grid with regular tetrahedron as its unit.
