Abstract, hand painted cinema (or cameraless animation) combining 16, 35, & 70mm film elements including found footage, custom digitized using an invented process in my home studio at a 4:1 aspect ratio.
Edited to Jungelaya by Los Straightjackets, this film is designed to make your eyes dance.

An animation artist with a history in photographic and optical special effects that has worked with many of NYC’s most prominent production houses, my film and TV credits include: “Pee Wee’s Playhouse”, Peter Gabriel’s “Big Time” music video, Paramount Picture’s “Star Trek V”, Bill Morrison’s “Decasia” and Zbigniew Rybczynski’s “The 4th Dimension”.
In 1992 I founded my own animation/effects company, Interface Arts.
Currently I am working as a media arts professor at Pratt Institute and The University of the Arts teaching film and animation courses while also creating my own independent animation, documentary, and experimental films.

Los Straitjackets is an American instrumental rock band that formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 1988. Originally comprising guitarists Danny Amis (formerly of Raybeats) and Eddie Angel and drummer L. J. "Jimmy" Lester under the name The Straitjackets, the band split up soon after forming and reunited as Los Straitjackets in 1994 with the addition of bassist E. Scott Esbeck. Esbeck left the band in 1998 and was replaced by Pete Curry. The current lineup also features Greg Townson on guitar and Chris Sprague on drums.
The band has released thirteen studio albums, four collaboration albums and three live albums.
