April holds a Master in Music and Media Technology in Trinity College Dublin and a Music Technology degree from National University of Ireland, Maynooth.
During her time on the Music and Media Technologies programme she studied visual music aesthetics with Maura McDonnell and competed a thesis in "Electroacoustic Movies: From Analogue Video Manipulation to Digital Videos for Electroacoustic Music", which analysed the close relationship between video and sound manipulation in both analogue and digital formats.
Currently works in the digital sector.
