Since the beginning, Pérez-Porro was fascinated with the relation between the artwork and its installation space, between representation and abstraction; an interest that drove him to work in various formats such as murals, archigraphy, sculpture and painting with mixed techniques. He started painting trompe l'oeil in a renaissance style. Years later, exploring his attraction towards walls and windows (the building membranes of interior/exterior spaces), his work eventually turned to abstraction, focusing on the study of color and formal tensions. : visit our PyR Blog article. http://victorperezporro.com/ |
